The Long Lens blog: Photography with added snaps

The photography site for sore eyes. With extra writing because I'm also a writer.

Hazard (Manchester, July 2016)

Also on July (2016) I photographed the fantastic Hazard festival in St Ann’s Square Manchester.

Hazard saw 14 art installations in and around the square. I photographed almost all of them. From irony-laden human crazy golf to strange women dressed in white and an organic toilet (I’m not sure if I’ve described that correctly), Hazard involves the public with performance art in engaging and innovative ways.

Here are some of the photos:

Hazard 2016 was presented by Word of Warning; produced by hÅb, in collaboration with the participating artists; supported using public funding by Arts Council England + funded by Manchester City Council. Thanks to the Royal Exchange Theatre.
